AfroSocialite Membership Rules, Guidelines & Policies

Afro Socialite Inc. is a membership-based club dedicated to fostering wellness, cultural pride, social connection, and personal growth. Our members are expected to uphold the values and mission of Afro Socialite, ensuring a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for all.

By joining Afro Socialite, members agree to abide by the following rules, guidelines, and policies.

2. Membership Eligibility

• Members must be 18 years and older.
• Membership is available in Standard and Premium tiers.
• All applications are subject to approval by Afro Socialite management.

3. Code of Conduct

Members must:

1. Show respect to all members, guests, staff, and partners.
2. Promote inclusivity regardless of race, ethnicity, gender, religion, age, disability, or sexual orientation.
3. Engage positively in Afro Socialite activities and events.
4. Avoid disruptive, aggressive, or offensive behavior in person or online.
5. Represent the club with integrity when attending partner establishments or public events.

4. Event Participation Guidelines

• Arrive on time and participate respectfully.
• Follow all event-specific instructions from Afro Socialite staff or partners.
• Alcohol consumption (if applicable) must be responsible and in line with venue rules.
• Smoking is only permitted in designated areas.
• No unauthorized selling or promotion of products/services at events without written approval.

5. Partnership & Discount Usage

• Member discounts at partner establishments are exclusive to the member and may not be transferred.
• Misuse of discounts (e.g., sharing codes, fraudulent claims) will result in disciplinary action.
• Members are encouraged to patronize partner establishments in a respectful manner, reflecting positively on Afro Socialite.

6. Online & Social Media Etiquette

• No harassment, bullying, or hate speech in Afro Socialite’s online spaces or social media groups.
• Members may share event photos/videos but must respect the privacy of others.
• Content that damages Afro Socialite’s reputation is strictly prohibited.

7. Confidentiality

• Member contact details and internal club information are confidential and must not be shared without permission.
• Sensitive discussions during meetings or events are not to be disclosed publicly.

8. Fees & Payments

• Membership fees must be paid in full and on time.
• Failure to renew membership will result in loss of benefits and access.

9. Consequences for Breaching Policies

Minor Breaches (e.g., lateness, minor etiquette breaches):

• Verbal or written warning.

Moderate Breaches (e.g., repeated lateness, misuse of discounts, disrespectful conduct):

• Written warning.
• Suspension from one or more events.

Serious Breaches (e.g., harassment, violence, fraud, discrimination, serious damage to Afro Socialite’s reputation):

• Immediate suspension of membership pending investigation.
• Possible termination of membership with no refund.
• Possible legal action if applicable.

10. Dispute Resolution

• Any disputes should be raised in writing to Afro Socialite management.
• The matter will be reviewed by the executive committee and resolved within a reasonable timeframe.

11. Amendments to Policies

• Afro Socialite reserves the right to amend these rules and guidelines. Members will be notified of any significant changes.
